Join us for the first-ever Flatlands Boulder Open at Bliss Climbing and Fitness! This community-focused competition is designed for youth and adult climbers of all experience levels. Whether you are stepping onto the mats for your very first competition or looking to test your limits in our advanced categories, there is a spot on the wall for you.
Come challenge yourself on 30 brand-new boulder problems, enjoy the community atmosphere, and stick around for an exciting Finals showcase in the evening.

Skill Categories & Grade Ranges
To keep the competition inclusive and fair, competitors will self-select into one of four divisions (divided into Men’s and Women’s brackets).
- Recreational: VB – V2
- Intermediate: V2 – V5
- Advanced: V5 – V7
- Open: V7+
Schedule & Waves
To ensure plenty of climbing space and a good flow on the walls, the competition is split into three distinct sessions. Capacity is strictly capped per session, and moving waves after registration is not guaranteed.
- Wave 1 | 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Open to all, but highly recommended for beginners and first-time competitors looking for a supportive, lower-pressure environment.
- Wave 2 | 11:45 AM – 2:45 PM (Full)
- Normal competition wave open to all categories.
- Wave 3 | 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Normal competition wave open to all categories.
- Finals | 7:30 PM
- The top competitors from the Open category face off under the lights. Spectators welcome!

All competitors will get a ticket for one slice of pizza! Pizza slices will be available from 11am-4pm.
